School Profile
Antipolo City SPED Center is the only public institution in the Division of Antipolo City that provides different educational services to children with special needs. Towns such as Morong, Teresa , Taytay and other neighboring towns near Antipolo City prefer to enroll their special child in this institution because of its proximity to their homes. The main center is situated in Antipolo City a few distance from the DEPED Antipolo City.
The school currently provides services to three hundred ninety five (395) students with different types of exceptionalities. The center offers various educational programs such as Resource Room Plan, Kindergarten using the Adjusted Curriculum, Grades One to Six applying the K-12 Program, Transition Program, adopting the transition program for those ID who will not benefir in the secondary level due to very low IQ range and Grades seven to 4th year self-contained and thru mainstreaming program.
Antipolo City SPED Center is monitored by DR. ROMMEL C. BAUTISTA, CESO V, the present Schools Division Superintendent of the division. MRS. MERLITA O. SAYAGO, Education Program Supervisor for Kindergarted and SPED, MRS. VICTORINA R. YUSON, Public School District Supervisor for District I-B and the Officer-in-Charge, MRS. SHIELA S. ANGNGED. At present the school has seven SPET, twenty-one Teachers with Special Education specialization and eight SPED Assistants. With the thirty-four teaching and non-teaching staff, the school operates with thirty nine classes with multi grade levels all for CSN.
