About Antipolo City SPED Center

 SPED or Special Education is a set of programs designed to meet the needs of learners with disabilities. It has its own tools, techniques and research efforts all focused on improving instructions. SPED Teachers are required to prepare individually planned program for resource class program to improve the weaknesses and enhanced the strengths of CSN. Special devices explicitly helped prepare them catch up lessons and help them get involve that will prepare them for normal setting in their family, community and environment.

 

After each class, teachers served as remedial SPED Teachers to enhance and remediate students to cope up with the daily lessons aligned with the regular program curriculum with modification. This school utilized the adjusted curriculum aligned with the K-12 at the same time provides intervention/remedial programs  that enhance the CSN. Moreover, children are exposed to varied activities that help them improve their socialization and behavior modification skills.  The IEP serves as the guide and special tool to help improve capacities of CSN.

 

         Children to be admitted in this school are required to undergo pre-assessment conducted by the SPED Team. At the same time requiring the parents to present developmental assessment if they can which will serve as baseline to determine related services, placement and educational programs that will tailor the special needs of the differently able children. If no credentials, SPED child has to undergo assessment thru the use of different assessment tools one of which is the PGEE to help the teachers determine the proper program a child should undergo.
